2023 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Swine Auction

Objective

The Swine Auction Committee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR) needed branding and collateral for its annual events. The committee hired Elevantics to provide brand logos, collateral designs, promotional items, and more.

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is an annual event in Houston, Texas that runs for about three weeks in March with an attendance of over two million attending to experience rodeo action, major musical acts, and an enormous carnival midway. 

We’ve been working with the HLSR Swine Auction Committee for the last five years to brand their events leading up to and including their auction, which raises scholarship funds for the 4H students who have submitted the pigs they’ve raised.

Design

For the 2023 auction, we were commissioned to brand the committee’s event with a Cuban theme, titled Havana Swine Time. We presented several concepts, and one was chosen by the committee to be featured in their promotional materials, gala event, and swine auction breakfast. 

Gala Event

The gala featured a cigar rolling station, live band with Cuban music and dancers, and local celebrity presenters. Everything was fully branded with our designed theme.

Auction Breakfast

The day of the auction, the committee hosts a breakfast prior to the kickoff of the event. The breakfast features a live band, photo wall, and themed cocktails for the attendees to enjoy. Our branding is featured throughout the space and printed materials.
